It was but a little that I passed from them, but I found him whom my soul loveth: I held him, and would not let him go, until I had brought him into my mother's house, and into the chamber of her that conceived me.

夜裡，我在床上尋找我心裡所愛的，我尋找他，卻找不到。我現在要起來，在城裡走街走，在寬闊的道路上尋找我心裡所愛的。我尋找他，卻找不著。城裡守望的人遇見了我，我對他說：『你們看見我心所愛的那人了嗎？〝我離開他們不過是一小段時間，卻遇見了我心裡所愛的，我抱著他，不肯放他走，直到我把他領進我母親的家裡，又領進懷我的人的房間裡。

 

I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, till he please.

Who is this that cometh out of the wilderness like pillars of smoke, perfumed with myrrh and frankincense, with all powders of the merchant?

Behold his bed, which is Solomon's; threescore valiant men are about it, of the valiant of Israel.

耶路撒冷的女子啊，我指著狍子和田野的母鹿囑咐你們，不要驚動，也不要驚醒我的愛人，直到他願意。那從曠野出來，像煙柱，散發著沒葯和乳香，還有商人各樣的粉末的，是誰呢？看他的床，就是所羅門的床;三十個勇士是以色列勇士中的。

 

They all hold swords, being expert in war: every man hath his sword upon his thigh because of fear in the night.

King Solomon made himself a chariot of the wood of Lebanon.

He made the pillars thereof of silver, the bottom thereof of gold, the covering of it of purple, the midst thereof being paved with love, for the daughters of Jerusalem.

Go forth, O ye daughters of Zion, and behold king Solomon with the crown wherewith his mother crowned him in the day of his espousals, and in the day of the gladness of his heart.

他們都拿著刀，都是善於打仗的，各人都把刀放在大腿上，因為在黑夜裡害怕。所羅門王用黎巴嫩的樹林造了一輛戰車。他為耶路撒冷的女子，用銀子做柱子，用金子做底蓋，用紫色做壇子，用愛心鋪成。錫安的女子啊，你們要出去，看，所羅門王戴著他母親在他宣傳的日子和心中歡喜的日子為他加冕的冠冕。
